Al-Athad is a 100% Iraqi owned company, staffed with a combination of Iraqi Nationals and Expatriates. We have developed successful and understanding relations with local companies where ongoing security operations are conducted. This allows our approach to not only be intelligence led in terms of ongoing monitoring of the relevant security situation, but we also have an in-depth knowledge of operational area atmospherics, which is critical to providing the best level of total security to our clients in Iraq. Al-Athad has an extensive network with government offices and officials, which allow for a culturally sensitive approach to the local community and the way in which we conduct our security operations.
As a risk a management specialist company, we pride ourselves on cross cultural frame work. Our multi- cultural staff ensures business continuity and has contributed to our client base growth. Consideration of the local community has always placed our organization in favorable position, mitigating issues or problems which may otherwise have the potential to escalate the risk of conducting security relates tasking within the operational environment. In 2010 Al-Athad received Rumaila Operating Organization (ROO) compliant stature and has been included on the ROO approved security services providers list. Following on from this achievement Al- Athad successfully passed their Basra Gas Company (BGC) audit in January 2014 and has been one of the few companies that received Shell approval. Al-Athad is also approved by ENI.
